Byron Bay Markets

Byron Bay is a market lovers paradise & no Byron experience is complete without visiting one of the regions craft and produce markets. Byron Bay market is one of the regions biggest & offers a vast array of handcrafted wares, locally-grown produce, and artworks. Get there early to take in all the stalls, indulge in some fresh food while enjoying the culture and vibe of Byron. The Byron Bay markets are the first Sunday of every month from 8am to 4pm. Byron Artisan Market run from October through to March, each Saturday from 5pm to 9pm. The markets operate in Railway Park, near the Bus stop / Railway Hotel. This is a small night market and is an opportunity to experience the essence of true Byron, its culture and the vibrancy of the local community. Enjoy some local vibes and taste various types of delicious cuisine.

The 4th Sunday of every month between 9am & 3pm consider heading to the nearby beautiful village of Bangalow for their monthly market.  The showgrounds offer a great setting for a pleasant day, that can be topped off with exploring this beautiful village with its many designer & homeware boutiques along with some great art of all types and tastes.  During the summer months don’t forget the Bangalow Farmers Market (Bangalow Hotel Carpark, 1 Byron St, Bangalow) are open from 8am through  to 11am.  These markets offer a good array of fresh local produce and makes the drive to Bangalow well worth it.
The beautiful and famed village Mullumbimby offer the “Mullum” Museum Markets on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 7.30am through to 3pm.  These markets have become renowned for showcasing productive artisans, local indie artists and locally made crafts.  Well renowned as an alternate village that become famous during the 70’s with surfers and hippies “Mullum” has managed shed any negative image and is now know for its laid back vibe along with its alternative lifestyles.  Mullum Museum Markets are held at the south end Stuart Street, Mullumbimby.
